Day 2 in BG...counting down the hours now!

We slept for 12 hours last night which was wonderful! Woke up at 10:30, got ready for the day and then set out to find some food since breakfast had passed. There were a couple small things I realized had not made it into the bag that we needed to pick up and I wanted to get some drinks, fruit and snacks to have in the room for the next few days. I had a mini panic when I couldn't get our phone to charge, and I realized I had forgotten i had already taken out the card in the slot that makes your electricity work, lol. We went to a nearby little market to see what they had, stopped in a bread shop for some yummy pastries (almost forgot to pay), kept on walking and found the Dunkin Donuts and then a much bigger market where we did the rest of our shopping at.

When we got back to the hotel, Susanna had just arrived! That was fun to meet her in person. Shortly after, our attorney, Toni, arrived after picking up any other mom from the airport and we got to meet Lillian as well! We had a quick chat before Susanna had to go and then we were able to sit in the restaurant and talk about the week to come with Toni. I feel well prepared and cared for. She even thought to have the hotel prepare a bag breakfast for us since we are leaving at the same time the restaurant opens and there would be no time to eat.

We went for another walk to get some exercise, pass the time and see if there were any souvenir type places open, there weren't but we got some oranges to eat later. Some a handful of stray dogs and lots of pigeons.

Got back to the room and finished getting ready for Gotcha day. The orphanage gifts are prepared, outfit and backpack for Ben are ready, cameras are charged and our bags are unpacked. I set some things out for Ben to have when we return from the room. Just trying to get some sleep until the alarm goes off :) I am finding that difficult unlike big brother J who is snoring in the bed next to mine.

Our stroller was delivered right before bed, yay!
